At True Dog, George’s Board and Train program is designed for owners seeking intensive, hands-on training while their dog stays in a supportive environment. During their stay, dogs receive daily personalised training sessions focused on behaviour modification, basic obedience, and specialised needs such as reactivity or recall. This program is ideal for dogs requiring focused attention or for busy owners looking for professional help to fast-track their dog’s progress.
George ensures each dog leaves well-trained, balanced, and ready to continue success at home.
Why board and train?
Imagine for example if you needed to fix your car, how long would it take for you to become a competent mechanic? Years I bet!
You not only would have to learn how to fix the issue but then put your learning in to practice, this is slow and clunky and this is why 1 on 1 training can take longer to get results.
Why not simply leave your dog with someone who has years of experience with countless dogs, and a proven track record? This way George can quickly train the behaviours in a loving and nurturing environment and then hand you back a well mannered and obedient companion and you can get back to living your best life together!
We take only very small numbers of dogs at a time to ensure your dog is getting our full attention, they are trained on our 2 acre homestead and cared for as if they were our own dogs.

Finer Points
Minimum of 3 weeks (in order to get lasting results)
2 x free 1 on 1 sessions afterwards (valued at over $300.00)
Video updates and constant communication, so you know your dog is getting our full attention 24/7
Training all day every day interspersed with play and socialisation with other dogs.
Pricing: 3 weeks $2,850.00, 4 weeks: $3,600.00 (Cash discount available on request)

Boarding (without the training)
We also offer boarding! leave your dog with us when you go away and have them looked after as if they were our own dogs. You will receive videos and photos regularly for your peace of mind, and they will more than likely return with some improved behaviours as George cannot help himself but to train dogs when they are staying with him!
We only ever take a maximum of 5-6 dogs at a time for boarding and board and train, this ensures they get our fill attention and quality training. They learn to behave themselves indoors and out and will be well loved every minute of their stay.
